I hope everyone had an enjoyable, healthy and restful Thanksgiving Break and you’re ready for the next 3 weeks of learning at school!    Report Cards Please return the signed envelope to school with your child.   Cold Weather Now that we are getting into colder weather patterns, please check the weather so that your child has the necessary clothing--boots (when there is snow on the ground), hats, coats, and gloves/mittens--to be going out for recess.  We do go out most days unless it is raining or below zero wind

  3rd Grade News Week 10 November 8th - November 12th Monday, November 8th - Library/Media Tuesday, November 9th - Art Wednesday, November 10th- LATE START , Thanksgiving Luncheon Thursday, November 11th- Gym, Math Test, Half Day Dismissal at 12:04 Friday, November 12th- Music, Half Day Dismissal at 12:04 Important Dates Late Starts - November 17th ½ Day - November 19th Thanksgiving Break-No School - November 24th-26th   Multiplication Facts And we’re off on our multiplication adventure!  In our last math unit, we began introducing students to using equal groups and arrays to solve multiplication facts.  We are beginning memorization by learning the 0s, 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s.  We are working on these in class, but many students will benefit from additional practice at home.  Resources to use include:  IXL F Skills, Flashcards, using items at home to make equal groups (for our more visual learners) examples would be: pennies, beads, popsicle sticks, etc.     Positivity Project Character
