  3rd Grade News  Week 36 May 30th - June 3rd Monday, May 30th - NO SCHOOL, Memorial Day Tuesday, May 31th - Art Wednesday, June 1st - LATE START, Kiwanis, 5th Grade Program Thursday, June 2nd - Gym Friday, June 3rd - Music, Potawatomi Zoo Important Dates 3rd Grade Reading Camp - June 6th Lincoln School Picnic - June 8th, 5-7PM 1/2 Days - June 9th and 10th Last Day of School - June 10th Kiwanis Park On Wednesday afternoon, June 1st, our 3rd grade classes will walk down to Kiwanis Park. We will eat lunch at school, then leave around 12:45 to walk to the park and spend time playing and having fun before we return to Lincoln at 2:30. We welcome parents and families to join us. Potawatomi Zoo  We are getting very excited about the zoo! Just a reminder that we will be leaving Lincoln at 9:30am on Friday, June 3rd. We do not have space on the bus for chaperones that have told us they are going, so you must drive yourself. You are welcome to follow the bus. This is a free trip for student

Reading Camp Our third graders are going to have a full day of Reading Camp on the Lincoln grounds. Thank you to those who have already signed up to send in supplies or set up tents.  The camp day is scheduled for Monday, June 6th from 9:00-11:30 and 1:00-3:30pm. We are still  in need of a few more volunteers to make this event happen.

The days were filled with activities as you moved from session to session. Our third graders are going to have a full day of Reading Camp on the Lincoln grounds. The camp day is scheduled for Monday, June 6th from 9:00-11:30 and 1:00-3:30pm. We are in need of several items to make this happen, including 2 large tents and one canopy, per class. The tents and canopy could be put up Sunday evening or Monday morning and taken down Monday after school. We will be very careful with them!   3rd Grade News  Week 32 May 2nd - May 6th Monday, May 2nd- No School Tuesday, May 3rd - Art, NWEA Math Test Day 1 Wednesday, May 4th- LATE START, NWEA Math Test Day 2 Thursday, May 5th - Gym, NWEA Math Finish Friday, May 6th - Music, Elementary Track Meet and Technology Festival Important Dates Late Starts - May 11th, 18th, 25th Track Meet The John Hall Elementary Track meet will be held this Friday, May 6th, at St. Joseph High School at 11:30.  The meet will last until 2:00. All third, fourth, and fifth grade students will participate in four events.  Third graders do a standing long jump, a 60 M dash, a running long jump, and a 100 M dash.  In addition, each class from all three schools will compete in a 400 M relay race.  Mr. Pfahler has selected four boys and four girls who will represent our classroom by running in this event.  We’d love to have you join us at the track meet if you are able!
