  3rd Grade News  Week 26 March 28th - April 1st Monday, March 28th- Library/Media Center Tuesday, March 29th- Art Wednesday, March 30th - LATE START Thursday, March 31st- Gym, Math Test, Movie afternoon, PJ Day Friday, April 1st - No School , Start of Spring Break Important Dates NO SCHOOL - Spring Break- April 4th - 9th   March is Reading Month Celebration! We have read and talked about so many new books this month! In order to celebrate our hard work, our class has chosen to watch a movie on Thursday afternoon. Students may bring in a pillow, blanket and extra snack if they wish. Spring Weather As temperatures begin to warm up, please remind your child that they will need a coat for recess if the temperature has not reached 60 degrees.  If they are playing and get warm, they are asked to tie their coat around their waist.   Computers After spring break, if you would like your child to keep their computer/charger at school, instead of bringing it home every night, please send th

Our classroom is running short on a few things. If you are able to help, please send in any of these items with your child: *Snacks (individual packs of Goldfish, Cheez-Its, Pretzels, etc.) *Extra Sugar-Free Gum - any flavor *Clorox Wipes Thank you so much!! If you took photos and would like to share them, please send them to kmandarino@stjoebears.com by March 11, 2022.    Report Cards/IXL Diagnostic/Lexia End of Trimester Progress Report cards will be sent home this week.  If you have any questions regarding your child’s report card please feel free to email me.  In addition, check out your child's IXL Diagnostic levels. They should start in the 300s (see below). If the scores are lower, extra time is needed to fill the gaps in math before 4th grade. Also
