  3rd Grade News  Week 31 April 25th - April 29th Monday, April 25th - Library/Media Center, Finish ELA M-Step Tuesday, April 26th - Art, NWEA Reading Test Day 1 Wednesday, April 27th- LATE START , 2nd grade program Thursday, April 28th - Gym, NWEA Reading Day 2 Friday, April 29th - Music, Finish NWEA Reading Important Dates Late Starts - May 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th No School - May 2nd Elementary Track Meet - May 6th   Spring Field Trip- Potawatomi Zoo Just a reminder, if you are wanting to join us for our June 3rd field trip, please return the blue note to school by this Friday, April 29th.     Track Meet The John Hall Elementary Track meet will be held on Friday, May 6th, at St. Joseph High School at 11:30.  The meet will last until 2:00. All third, fourth, and fifth grade students will participate in four events.  Third graders do a standing long jump, a 60 M dash, a running long jump, and a 100 M dash.  In addition, each class from all three schools will compete in a 400 M relay race

I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing spring break.  I am ready to get back to school for our last 9 weeks of school!     Spring Weather As temperatures begin to warm up, please remind your child that they will need a coat for recess if the temperature has not reached 60 degrees.  If they are playing and get warm, they are asked to tie their coat around their waist.   Testing Season We are approaching the testing season after break. We will be taking two different tests, the MSTEP and the NWEA. With both of these tests, we need to take a math test and a reading test. Please try to avoid any appointments or absences on these days. All testing will be held in the morning on the
