Back to School Night
Thank you to those of you that could make it to Back to School Night. If you weren't able to make it, we did record it. You won't be able to see the part where we show the homework sheet, and discuss it. However, if you have questions about the homework, let me know.

Homework
Please remember to have kids bring their homework sheet in on Monday! Our focus for homework this year is to have students reading at night on a daily basis. We would like them to read their “Good Fit” book that they bring back and forth to school. This book should be a book that interests them, or is not too easy, but not too hard. We also have options for kids to work on additional math skills and writing. If you have any homework related questions, please feel free to contact me.
Positivity Project Character Strength: Open-Mindedness
This week we are learning about open-mindedness. Open-mindedness is when you like to consider new ideas and try new things. You examine things from all sides and don’t jump to conclusions.
What we are learning this week!
Math- Introduction to multiplication
Reading- Character Traits
Social Studies- Learning about the Five Themes of Geography in Michigan
Writing- We will continue working on writing a personal narrative
